Coming out? Want the world to know? Got to let it show? The John Rowe Show<\/strong> will be encouraging audiences to reveal their guilty pleasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Australian TV personality and his band are heading to the Edinburgh Fringe with a brand new stage version of his much-loved chat show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And at the heart of it all will be the audience and their secrets \u2013 all revealed to the tune of Donna Summer\u2019s classic hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John himself admits to having a powerful inner grandma, something he realised when he developed the urge to collect porcelain teacups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said: \u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to hearing people\u2019s \u2018coming out\u2019 stories \u2013 whether you\u2019re a trucker with a secret love of Barry Manilow or a vegan who sneaks the occasional sausage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No two nights of The John Rowe Show<\/strong> are ever the same and he\u2019ll also have showbiz mates dropping in for a chat, a cuppa and a donut on the sofa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among those popping up at the Fringe will be former Van Morrison backing singer turned successful solo recording artist Brian Kennedy<\/strong>, top comedy magician\u00a0Mandy Muden<\/strong>, impressionist\u00a0Naomi McDonald<\/strong> and fellow Aussies the drag queen\u00a0Dolly Diamond<\/strong> and the charismatic\u00a0Tap Pack<\/strong> song and dance crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this will be packed in alongside groovy live tunes, sing-alongs, daggy dancing, daft chat, surprises and silliness \u2013 including a lesson from John\u2019s favourite 70s Guide to Disco Dancing book, and top tips from the \u201cJohn Rowe School of Overacting\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kitsch, cool and curious, John has a passion for the entertainingly odd and for musical fun. Joining him on stage will be his band members, Stefan Novak and Jake Bisognin in their favourite tartan togs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

John is a well-known face on television, whether it\u2019s doing guest spots on variety shows, starring on kids\u2019 TV or hosting events like the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. That\u2019s on top of being a musician and singer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show will featureloads of feel-good music (old school and current faves) as John\u2019s nightly house party rocks its way through the Fringe. So if you like Pina Coladas, getting caught in the rain \u2026. head along and join the fun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
